UCC — United Combat Connections ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile application dedicated to combat sports. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal data.

1. Data collected

We collect the following data:

• Account data: email address, first/last name, profile picture
• Sports profile: disciplines practiced, skill level, weight class, record, training gym
• Published content: posts, photos, videos (highlights, stories), comments, messages
• Approximate location: city and country (to find training partners)
• Technical data: device type, OS version, push notification identifiers

2. Use of data

Your data is used to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your profile to other users
• Enable messaging and social interactions
• Suggest training partners (Match feature)
• Send push notifications (messages, likes, comments, matches)
• Improve the application and fix technical issues

3. Storage and security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers (Google Cloud Platform). Data may be hosted in the European Union and/or the United States. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firestore security rules to protect your data.

4. Third-party services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication: account management (Google LLC)
• Firebase Firestore: database (Google LLC)
• Firebase Cloud Storage: photo and video storage (Google LLC)
• Apple Sign-In: Apple authentication (Apple Inc.)
• Google Sign-In: Google authentication (Google LLC)
• Expo Push Notifications: push notifications (Expo)

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your public profile data (name, photo, disciplines, city) is visible to other users of the application. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification: correct your data via the profile edit screen
• Right to erasure: request the deletion of your account and all your data
• Right to portability: obtain your data in a readable format
• Right to object: object to the processing of your data

7. Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days. Published content (posts, comments) may be anonymized rather than deleted.

8. Minors

The application is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Important changes will be communicated through the application. The last update date appears at the top of this page.
